Lot 172 - Rogers (Ginger) Autograph letter signed...

Rogers (Ginger) Autograph letter signed ('Ginger') to Ray Daum, reading in part "How nice of you to speak of me as you did with that very nice person! She's often spoken of Christian Science - in passing, that is - as 'our religion'. I never stopped long enough to really enquire about her interest in it  - but forgive me if I ask you - Is it a real interest? Mine started some while back, during my Sunday school days [...] Yes, that cute little church behind the Carlton is quite a dear one - never were there more than twelve in attendance [...]Yes, all goes well. I've been sunning and am somewhat browner than when you saw me. Always makes me feel better when I have a good tan", one page, folding marks, light wear, 4to, with original mailing envelope addressed in Rogers's hand and postmarked "June 6(?) 1957)"; postcard addressed to Ray, with an autograph note from Rogers saying she will be in New York the following week, light handling wear, 9 x 14cm, 1959.
